Puppy Referral Scheme. The Club does not endorse or recommend any breeder, or litter inquiry and accepts no liability in respect of this. All purchases must be negotiated with the breeder and the buyer. If you are considering a lease agreement or purchasing a puppy on breeder’s terms it is recommended that you enter into a written agreement. This list is updated as soon as new litters become available. It is in the order of commencement date designated by each breeder. If you contact a breeder on this list and they advise you all puppies are sold , please advise me as soon as possible. Please read the breed information brochure thoroughly, and satisfy yourself as to the suitability of the breed and subsequently the puppy chosen for your purposes.
When you visit a litter
of puppies you should find a clean environment, healthy and well socialized puppies and a dam with good
temperament. Information on the sire should be available on request. The breeder should provide a complete record of worming and vaccinations, feeding and care instructions, the puppy's pedigree and
proof of the sire and dam's examinations for hereditary defects - hip certificates, and up to date eye certificates. (some breeders now also have elbow & heart certs)
No puppy is to leave the breeder before it is 8 weeks of age, as per VCA & GRCV regulations. On some occasions breeders may offer a puppy on "Breeder's Terms". There are many reasons for this and the important thing is to ensure that the agreement is in writing and is signed by both the buyer and the breeder.
